Very strange that a game franchise that is renown for multiplayer is single player only. I wonder why unless Bethesda thought there might be too much overlap with the new Doom game.

I love the setting of Fable, the oddly British characters, the world but feel the actual game design needs a complete overhaul. The problem is that it is very old school in a bad way. It's not open world just a series of separate places. This was acceptable when the first game came out but for the third game it was problematic.

What I love is that you can be watching a twitch stream then join the person's game. So if a broadcaster needs a friend for co-op or a squad for multiplayer he can ask his viewers to join him. Clever!

@mcarsehat. "[Thief] is a current gen game." Actually your mistaken in thinking Thief is a next-gen only game. AC IV, Tomb Raider and Thief are ALL cross-gen games.
As for next-gen only games Killzone: Shadow Fall is 1080p 30fps in single player. Ignoring gameplay discussion the graphics are fantastic. This is a next-gen game that runs fine with a ton of graphical effects.

It was the strength of the whole Microsoft & EA relationship that made them feel invincible enough to bring in always-on DRM.
There was a public outcry and here they both are pulling this shit again through the backdoor. Microsoft could have refused EA the right to publish it unless they fixed this - but they didn't.
That's what I love about Kojima, he's polite and professional but he doesn't talk that vacuous anodyne PR language that some people in the industry can't snap out off. He is established enough and sure enough of himself to say what he believes. He isn't trying to damage any other brands he is just saying the PS4 is the most powerful console that has the power to best turn his concepts into reality.

In Europe, if a company label a game as 1080p when in fact it id upscaled 720p it leaves them liable to court action for for falsely advertising their games. Although the courts are not too tech savvy so Microsoft could argue that up scaled 1080p is still 1080p.
Also false labelling a game as 1080p will lead to hardcore gamers not trusting Microsoft when they are aware of the native resolution of a game.
High frame rate in film and computer games are two completely different things and I hate it when low frame rate apologists describe them as being the same thing.
Film shown at frame rates higher than 24fps can be odd because its so different to what people are used and looks more realistic. High frame rates in games has no negatives, the fluidity of animation always looks better.
I would love to play a new Elder Scrolls, Fallout or other open world RPG with this thing. Because if this or Oculus Rift work as promised, it means instead of looking at a game world through the window in your telly, YOU will actually be in the world. But I know coming up against a ghost and demons will scare the bejesus out of me!
Last gen I always dreamed of a Knights of the Old Republic HD. It's got a fantastic story and characters that really fits the Star Wars universe well. The game is the forefather to Mass Effect and that's a good thing.
